Apartments & Studios

Apartments and studios on the Greek island of Kefallonia are generally simple, but of high standard. The village of Lourdata has the feel of a greek village rather than a tourist centre and the locals take a pride in their village and its surroundings.

All the accommodation is regularly inspected and categorised by the National Tourist Organisation of Greece (EOT). All of the available studios and apartments have air-conditioning, at no extra charge. (Some also have ceiling fans.) All the apartments and studios are equipped for self-catering. The prices quoted are per room, per night, however, if a third bed is required in a studio, there may be an additional charge (not exceeding 20%).

Epi Apartments This is the first house in the village, opposite the Muses Bar http://www.muses-cafebar.gr/. There are seven apartments - all with air-conditioning and television. Five of these are twin-bedded, one has two bedrooms (one with a double bed) and sleeps four. In addition there is a studio apartment suitable for larger families.

Next door to Epi Apartments are the Foteini Studios. They consist of four twin-bedded apartments, all air-conditioned, above the family house. Access to the rooms is by a staircase from the patio at the front of the house and each studio has a veranda.

A little farther down the hill,set back from the road where it bends to the left, are the Adonis Apartments All the accommodation is self-catering and air-conditioned. There are two studios, one studio has two single beds, the other a double bed. The three apartments each have two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other two singles.

Just above the square is a small lane that leads to the Ramona Studios (signposted). These are in a quiet location, less than one minute walk from the square. There are five apartments with twin beds, two apartments with three beds, and the other two studios have two rooms with two beds in each. All the rooms are air-conditioned.

If you take the road next to the Neptune Car Hire office in the square, no more than 50 metres up a steep hill you will come to the Marinos Studios. There are 11 studios on the first and second floors above the family house. Eight of the studios have twin beds and three have double beds. Every apartment has a balcony, air-conditioning and television. Because of their position, they enjoy spectacular views of the mountain and the sea.

At the beach are the Diona Studios, set back about 50 metres from the sea. There are six apartments and, as can be seen from the photograph, each apartment has a balcony overlooking the garden and facing the sea. All are air-conditioned, within a short walking distance of a number of excellent restaurants, and convenient for those who prefer to avoid the hill to the village.
