Having reserved a villa or apartment on the Greek island of Kefalonia, you need to know that you can travel easily and safely from the airport to your accommodation. The arrangements detailed below will make this a simple and enjoyable experience
There are two taxi companies based in Lourdas - Makis Thomatos and Panagis Minetos. Both have Mercedes E-class saloons, but Panagis Minetos also has larger vehicles available.
For parties of up to four people the cost of your transfer
from the airport to your destination is shown in the table below. The
charge is for the journey - in Greece you are not charged per person,
therefore the total cost is the same irrespective of how many people are
in the taxi.
We can arrange for a taxi to meet you at the
airport and take you to your accommodation in
comfort. The driver will greet you at the airport arrivals area, will have
your name displayed and his car will be just outside the terminal door.
Payment is in cash when you arrive at your destination.
When you are in Kefalonia, if you are likely to need a taxi, ask your driver for his card. Both companies can be contacted at any time by 'phone or WhatsApp and are absolutely reliable.
